Need help with RenewExit?

RenewExit combines manual subscription tracking with Exit Plans. No account, bank connection, or email-inbox access is required.

What can I do from Home?

Home lets you add a subscription or create an Exit Plan. It also shows compact attention items when an existing plan needs a decision or follow-up.

How do Exit Plans work?

Start from a tracked subscription or enter a service name. Choose the service’s management method, inspect or open the available Apple or provider route, then return to RenewExit to explicitly record what happened. You can track a follow-up or remaining access and keep a local timeline of the plan.

RenewExit does not cancel subscriptions automatically. Opening a method does not mean the subscription was cancelled; you complete the process with Apple or the provider.

What belongs in Subscriptions?

Subscriptions is your manually maintained service library. You can track renewals, free trials, prices in their original currencies, billing periods, notes, and optional reminders. RenewExit does not automatically detect subscriptions.

How reminders work

RenewExit uses optional local notifications for renewals, trial endings, Exit Plan follow-ups, and access-end dates. Notification permission is required and is managed in iOS Settings.

How exports work

CSV and JSON contain subscription-oriented records and tracking fields. The PDF is a summary of eligible tracked subscriptions, upcoming renewal or trial information, recurring-cost estimates grouped by currency, and, where applicable, a separate lightweight Exit Plan section. None of these formats is a complete Exit Plan timeline archive. Exports are created on your device and go only to the destination you choose in the iOS share sheet.

How to clear tracked data

Use Settings -> Clear tracked data to remove subscriptions, Exit Plans, timeline and history events, subscription reminders, Exit Plan reminders, and custom reminders. Language, appearance, default currency, reminder-time preference, App Lock preference, and other app settings remain. The action does not change iPhone-level notification permission.

How App Lock works

Optional App Lock uses Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode through iOS where available. RenewExit does not receive or store your biometric information.
